Ready to take your day-hiking skills to the next level? Yearning for your first overnight backcountry adventure but unsure about equipment or logistics? Backpacking Boot Camp offers a fully guided, hands-on immersion into wilderness hiking and camping, designed to teach by doing.

This two-day, one-night excursion is tailored for up to two participants identifying as female, with no prior experience required. Tide Rollers & Mudlarkers provides all essential camping equipment, allowing you to focus on skill-building, safety, and connection with nature.

Your adventure begins with a preparatory two-hour familiarization session (in person or via video call), followed by an 8:00 am gear check on day one. Over the course of the two days, you’ll hike, learn backpacking techniques, practice setting up camp, and experience the joy and confidence of wilderness self-sufficiency. Meals are included, with 2 lunches, 1 dinner, and 1 breakfast provided, alongside all gear from tents and sleeping pads to cooking equipment and hiking poles.

This experience is perfect for friends or a mother-daughter getaway and is designed for participants aged 13 and up, who can carry their own pack (20–25 lbs). Adventure, learning, and connection with nature await!

Final confirmation regarding start-time will be forwarded no later than 5 weeks prior to your tour.
