Tidal Force: Witnessing the Return of the Sea
This tour is timed to coincide with the incoming tide at Two Islands Beach.
Available on select dates, it offers a chance to watch the "Meeting of the Waters," where the sea rushes into the channel between the mainland and the islands. We begin with a beach exploration and treasure hunt before settling in to watch the event.
Guests may choose to safely feel the invigorating force of the advancing water at guided locations, or observe the powerful spectacle from the protection of the shore. However you experience it, this is a moment of motion, sound, and energy that leaves a lasting impression.
This rare Fundy phenomenon offers not just a view of the tides — but a front-row encounter with one of nature’s most powerful performances.
Join us for an unforgettable, tide-timed journey to Two Islands Beach along the Minas Basin of the Bay of Fundy. Available only on limited dates each month due to precise tide conditions, this exclusive coastal experience offers a rare opportunity to witness the Bay in one of its most dynamic and exhilarating moments.
Over the course of this immersive four-hour guided exploration, you’ll have time to wander the beaches, search for hidden shoreline treasures, and take in sweeping coastal views before settling in to witness the spectacular return of the tide. Watch as the rushing waters surge into the shallow channel between the Big Island and the mainland — a dramatic natural event known as the “Meeting of the Waters.”
This tour is solely tidal-dependent and only offered on limited days following the full and mew moons from June through September. Final confirmation regarding start-time will be forwarded no later than 3 weeks prior to your tour.
